Describe what you were doing at time of sighting
Driving southbound on 1-45 at around midnight traveling from Colorado to Houston, Texas. I had beenntalking on the CB for several hours with a truck driver that was going to Houston as well. Traffic wasn'tntoo heavy and we were passing time and keeping each other alert.
Describe what you heard / found / saw
A large, approximately 9 foot, ape-like shape crossed the freeway in front of us about half the length of anfootball field away, going from the median to the woods on the right. It seemed he cleared both lanes innabout four long strides and disappeared. I would have put it down to
Describe the time of year and the environment
It was around mid October, with moderately cool temperatures around 45 to 50 degrees. The area isnsparsely populated with plenty of trees and gentle hills.
Have there been any other reports ro talk in your area
Not that I'm aware of.
Additional comments
To be as large as it was, it moved extremely quickly without looking around.
