Describe what you were doing at time of sighting
Coming home from work. I got off from work at a factory at 2:00 A.M..
Describe what you heard / found / saw
I was driving home and had turned off onto the road that led toward my house, roughly, five milesnoutside of town. The road has some mild curves in it but you have to be careful because it's a good areanfor Deer. There are always some to be seen running through the fields or crossing the roads so you neednto be alert. It was also a clear night. No clouds but there wasn't much of any moonlight that night. Therenis a curve just before having to cross a small creek. I made the next to the last curve and my headlightsnlit up the curve ahead. There was something just on the other side of the fence in the field. It only tooknfive seconds to reach the next curve and I could see it very plainly. Something was standing therenleaning on the fence with its hands and as I got to the curve it turned and ran into the cornfield. I wasn'tntwenty five feet away when it ran. It was covered with grayish hair and I would guess it was perhaps anfoot taller than myself. (I am six foot two). I don't know what it might have weighed. It was fairly thicknbodied. By the time I got to the bridge it started to soak in as to what I just saw. My hair felt like it wasnstanding on end and I just wanted to get home and in the house. I wouldn't even tell my wife for a longntime.
Describe the time of year and the environment
It was July and it was a nice clear night. Probably two fifteen in the morning. Corn fields lined the roads.
