I did some research on what would happen if a Bigfoot body was found. It was
actually quite amazing some of the reactions I received.
Anyway, I ended up writing a novel about it and self-publishing (sorry, all
sold out). The list of interested included Native Americans, law enforcement,
environmentalists, business interests, scientists, museums and a number of
other lesser interests -- including one I didn't expect -- there are men out there
who spend big money to hunt exotic beasts and base their guides on if there's
one, there's another.
Also, I was almost immediately told that a body whose origin could be
undoubtedly determined would be worth at least $1M -- as a start.
Also, there would be huge legal hassles. I spoke to a county morgue man. He
said he just wouldn't know what to do with a manlike body, but that it would
draw legal interests and would probably be tied up in court for years.
Yours,
Joe Beelart
